A 63-year-old man was killed in a vehicle-pedestrian collision on Chapman Avenue west of Euclid Street in Garden Grove on the afternoon of Sept. 29, 2026. The driver, operating a tan 2012 Chevrolet Suburban, struck the man in the 10900 block of Chapman Avenue at approximately 3:48 p.m. A Garden Grove Police Department officer witnessed the collision and immediately rendered aid alongside additional officers. OCFA paramedics transported the victim to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was pronounced dead.
